On Saturday, October 12, Chicagoans in the know are headed down to Soldier Field for the 2019 Chicago Bacon and Beer Classic. This popular fall festival is exactly what it sounds like: a celebration of beer and bacon, which festival producers dub "the best things in life." If you're in agreement, then you'll want to mark your calendar for this event.

More than 100 craft beers will be served on tap, and you'll get to sample 30+ different bacon-based dishes, ranging from bacon-topped doughnuts to bacon mac-and-cheese. Want to prove your devotion to cured meats? Enter the bacon-eating contest and compete for the top prize. Looking for a slightly more laid-back experience? No problem. Just sip your brew, challenge your friends to a game of cornhole, and enjoy an afternoon of fun. 

Tickets start at $59 and include unlimited food and beer samples throughout the event.
