How are you going to participate in this year’s Chicago Thanksgiving Parade? There are so many more ways to be a part of this yearly event than simply being a spectator. There is still time to apply to be in the parade, or shoot for next year with a 2020 applications. You can also sponsor the festivities, or volunteer for a variety of exciting positions. If working the parade isn’t on your bucket list, you can upgrade your viewing experience by becoming a VIP for access to an exclusive area, bleacher seating, and more. No matter what you decide, just don’t miss this annual Chicago tradition by either attending the parade or tuning into your local broadcast live on WGN9.

The Chicago Thanksgiving Parade starts bright and early at 8 a.m. on November 28, and wraps up around 11 a.m. That’s just enough time to get home, slide your bird in the oven, and enjoy the distinctly American holiday with family, friends, football, and food.
