Your idea of a PB&J is about to change. At a new bar and restaurant of the same name, PB&J stands for pizza, beer, and jukebox, and it’s the neighborhood hangout that the West Loop needed.
The pizzas give you plenty of options to explore, with toppings like poutine, loaded baked potato, or burrata and balsamic. But don’t be disappointed if the name has you thinking about your favorite classic sandwich. PB&J has those as well in a few different forms, including the “Elvis style” with candied bacon. There’s even a full loaf version of the PB&J that feeds eight people, which is great since this bar is the type of place that easily lends itself to relaxed gatherings. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and the drink menu gives you a reason to stay all night. Choose from house wines, cool cocktails, or flights of the staff’s favorite beer, as well as plenty of interesting brews on draft.
Give this new spot a try on Tuesday or Wednesday for mid-week specials on food and drink. PB&J is located on North Peoria Street, and also offers private event space for your next party.
