Race for a Good Cause During the Turkey Trot Chicago

  |     |   Uncategorized

Before you sit down with family or friends around the table and give thanks on November 25th, come out to support your community and blow off some steam at the Turkey Trot Chicago. The annual 5K and 8K is once again back in person for 2021, including the Turkey Day Tailgate before and after the race.
Since the race had to be cancelled last year, expect a particularly exuberant crowd when you show up on race day! Everyone will probably already be sipping on warm apple cider and playing games like corn hole and turkey bowling—but if you’re not quite ready to dive right in, don’t worry, the festivities will still be going on after the race. Register for the 5K or 8K, depending on how much you want to sweat, and then pull on your Turkey Trot t-shirt to join the fun. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository, an organization that teams up with food pantries and shelters around the Chicago area to ensure that anyone experiencing homelessness feels loved (and is well fed) on Thanksgiving day.
